Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world.
IES internships are offered as academic options earning IES credit with a strong academic component that includes an academic seminar, tutorial, or directed independent study, and an evaluative report from the supervisor of the organization offering the internship. The tutor will assign readings in connection with the internship and will supervise the student's academic report. Each student must submit a major written project to the tutor at the end of the internship. A summary of the student's activities during the internship should be included as an addendum to the report. Internships available in the following disciplines: Political Science, Business, Education, Art and Museum.
