Description: ELI is partnered with a fashion studio that offers courses to local students and works with textile companies to create original designs. Interns gain valuable experience in fashion design by working with this studio in Buenos Aires. The specific tasks assigned to interns vary according to the intern's area of interest and the needs of the studio.

Highlights: Argentina is one of the most captivating countries in South America. The country stretches from the Tropic of Capricorn in the North to the icy waters of Cape Horn. Between these extremes, the Andes tower above the Gran Chaco and the Pampas, home of the gaucho, before giving way to rugged Patagonia in the south.

ELI's Argentina programs are based in Buenos Aires, the elegant and energy filled capital. Buenos Aires is often called the Paris of South America because of the European style architecture, cafes, boulevards, cultural venues, fine restaurants, and clubs. Buenos Aires is considered one of the fashion capitals of Latin America, and its people, Porteños, are well known for their sophisticated style and flair.

Interns have the opportunity to test their career interests, gain experience, and realize long and short term goals in a variety of internship programs.

Qualifications / Skills Needed:
* Self-motivated and creative
* Intermediate level of Spanish proficiency must be comfortable working in an all Spanish speaking environment
* Cover letter and resume submitted in Spanish
* Interest in Fashion
* A portfolio, though not required, is helpful
* Time commitment of at least 10-12 weeks
