The London Internship Program offers 6 weeks of work (plus one week of orientation) in England's fascinating, fast-moving, and sophisticated capital. Students participate in London's work life through assigned internships that complement their particular academic concentration and personal goals. Students work full-time, five days a week. Internship areas include advertising, marketing, and public relations; arts and arts administration; business and economics; film, radio, and television; hospitality and tourism; journalism; management and finance; politics and international relations; prelaw; psychology nd social policy; and theater studies.
Our internship placement team in London works closely with students to select their internship option. Students are preplaced prior to the start of the summer, after discussing their requirements with one of the Internship Managers, students interview with their selected company and decide whether to accept the internship. The internship placement team makes every effort to meet students' main internship goals and continues working with students until they find an agreeable placement. Our internship placement team have been placing American students in internships for the past 20 years. Placement opportunities exist through sponsor relationships with both small, dynamic local firms, as well as market-leading multi-national organizations.

Cost Includes: This program offers unpaid internships comprised of one week of orientation and interviews, and six weeks of full time work. On site staff will provide coaching in interview techniques and business etiquette. Each student will have a mid term review with a member of the internship team, and each internship sponsor will evaluate individual student performance throughout the program. Final written evaluations from each internship sponsor will be sent to the student's home institution.
In addition to a comprehensive on site orientation, local walking tour of London , and a welcome reception, this program also offers a social program to help you balance work and play. In addition, there will be time set aside for students to rest and/or explore between orientation sessions to facilitate an easy transition into this new experience.
Housing
Interns will stay in centrally located and fully renovated flats in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, one of London 's most attractive and safe neighborhoods. All flats are fully furnished, self-contained and specially designed for the student lifestyle. Each has a kitchen with modern cooking facilities, high-speed Ethernet connections, phone lines and basic weekly housekeeping.
Included in the program fee are CIS administrative fees, housing, all CIS advisory services and personal pre-departure orientation, airport reception, host university orientation, and CIS comprehensive health, accident & medical insurance.
