Description: We have 2 large Hotels that offer work assignments in the following departments in Barcelona:

** Marketing
** Catering and Food Services
** Event Planning
** Administrative
** Assistant to various persons in Hotel Management

Non-academic work program providing specific work experience in Spain and huge potential to upgrade Resume with International exposure. Opportunity to become bilingual while living and working in Spain.

First 2 weeks: intensive language classes (4 hours per day of lessons and 2 hours per day of cultural classes) at a prestigious Institute. 3-4 excursions are included

Starting 3rd Monday: 20 hours per week of work in the Sector you choose. The participating companies can be local, Spanish owned with less than 20 employees or larger, international corporations. You choose, with our help and based on your background and goals while participating in this program.

* The amount of time you choose to intern is flexible, with program lengths ranging from 1 to 6 months
* This can be a non-academic or academic internship - you decide
* 2 weeks of intensive Spanish language classes are included in the fee
* Lodging is included. Live like a Spaniard with a Spanish roommate or in a shared apartment with other Adelante candidates.
* You will be met at the airport when you arrive in Spain, and taken directly to your apartment
* Internships are for approximately 4 hours each day
* You will gain real, international work experience to add to your resume.

We organize events most weekdays and weekends which you are welcome to participate in -- some have a small fee, others are free. This program is meant to be 50% work experience and 50% cultural / language acquisition and immersion. To that effect, we help cultivate the cultural side of the program for you by organizing these events.

Programs run 2-6 months, with nothing over $4705.00. This is all inclusive, no hidden fees! (Airfare is not included).

Qualifications / Skills Needed: We have developed this program especially for Americans looking to intern in Spain. We require that interns be native English speakers.

Intern Types: Admin (Hospitality, Sports), Food Science and Nutrition, Hotel/Restaurant/Hospitality, Marketing, Ad, PR and Tourism

Languages: English and Spanish

Cost in US$: From $2,495 to $6,615 for 1-6 months, plus $150 application fee.

Cost Includes: ** 2 weeks of intensive Spanish language classes, plus social and cultural activities in the afternoons ** Lodging included: Live like a Spaniard with Spanish roommates or in a shared apartment with other Adelante candidates ** Airport pick-up at Barajas International Airport in Madrid ** Orientation Session for the language course, the city of Madrid and other essential, general information ** English speaking Adelante staff is available to you to support, assist and in many other ways be there for you should you need it 24 hour/7 days a week.
